Our story began in 2011 when a group of passionate individuals came together with a shared love for wildlife and a deep appreciation for the enchanting region of Ladakh. Under the name Snow Leopard Lodge, we embarked on a remarkable journey to create a haven for wildlife enthusiasts amidst the breathtaking landscapes.
For many years, Snow Leopard Lodge thrived as a collaborative venture, offering incredible experiences and opportunities to connect with the elusive snow leopards and the mesmerizing wildlife of Ladakh. Together with our partners, we established a reputation for excellence and a commitment to conservation and sustainability.
However, as time went on, we realised that our true calling lay in crafting a more personal and authentic experience for our valued guests. In pursuit of this vision, we made the decision to become a family-owned and operated establishment, thus giving rise to Shan at Uley.
Shan at Uley represents a new chapter in our story, one that is driven by our unwavering dedication to providing heartfelt hospitality, rooted in family values and a deep connection to the land we call home.
