COMMON SPACES

The common spaces at Shan at Uley are an important part of the stay. After a day in the mountains, this is where guests come together, warm up, have tea, go through photographs, share stories or simply sit quietly and enjoy the surroundings.

Our lounge is cozy and relaxed, with books, games, wildlife photographs and space to spend an easy evening after a long day outside.

A new addition to the lodge is our panoramic dining space, designed around the view. Large windows open towards the mountains, while the balcony gives you a beautiful place to step outside with a cup of tea and take in the changing light over Uley.

The new space also includes a dedicated library cabin, a quiet corner to read and slow down, along with a souvenir section featuring a small collection of local crafts and keepsakes.

Meals remain at the heart of the lodge, and the new dining room brings the landscape even closer. From breakfast in the morning light to dinner as the mountains fade into the evening, the view becomes part of the experience.
