Connectivity & Currency
Stay Connected, Slowly
Uley is a remote mountain village, so connectivity is limited. BSNL may work intermittently, while Airtel, Jio, and Vi usually do not have service in the valley.
No proper Wi-Fi is available at the lodge; one can use mobile hotspots for small usage. It is suitable for WhatsApp, email, and light browsing, but speed may vary depending on weather and usage.
Electricity is available with main grid supply and backup support. Charging points are available in rooms and common areas, and universal adapters or multi-plug boards can be provided on request.
Currency & Payments
The main currency used in Ladakh is the Indian Rupee (INR). ATMs are available in Leh, but there are no ATMs in Uley, so guests are advised to carry enough cash for personal expenses, tips, and extra services before leaving Leh.
Extra bills at the lodge can be settled before departure. For confirmed bookings, payment details and accepted methods will be shared at the time of reservation.
