PREMIUM ROOMS

​Our Premium Rooms, Drenmo and Ribilik, are special not only for their space and privacy, but for the way they are built.

Inspired by traditional Ladakhi architecture, the building uses natural materials sourced from the surrounding area and a passive solar technique that captures and retains the sun’s heat naturally. During the day, sunlight warms the building, and that warmth stays inside long after the temperature outside begins to fall.

This simple idea is perfectly suited to life in the high Himalayas. It reduces dependence on external heating while creating rooms that feel naturally warm, quiet and connected to the landscape.

Inside, natural wood, stone, and Ladakhi details come together with large mountain views, a king-size bed, a private entrance, and an en-suite bathroom.

For us, this is the most beautiful part of the Premium Rooms: the architecture belongs to the landscape, and the landscape itself helps keep you warm.
